Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our Network Software team. As a key member of our team, you'll design, develop, and operate complex software products that deliver optimized and secure connectivity for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop resilient distributed systems and microservices
  • Manage large, complex systems in the public cloud, with experience in AWS desirable
  • Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • 5+ years of engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience with at least one object-oriented programming language
  • Solid knowledge of database technologies and big data technologies like Spark, Kafka, and Druid
  • Experience with agile development methodology and testing
  • Public cloud engineering experience on GCP, AWS, Alibaba, and/or Azure platforms
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with open-source projects
  • Knowledge of network technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, TLS termination, and HTTP proxies
  • CI/CD experience with Jenkins
  • Owning and operating multiple instances of mission-critical infrastructure services
