Lead Applications Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Applications Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and testing of complex applications
  • Provide technical expertise in Flow Control, Pump Systems, Auto Cad, Machine Design, Pressure product, and Process Engineering
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new applications
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into application requirements
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including project plans, specifications, and test plans
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Applications Engineer, Lead Mechanical Engineer, or in a similar role
  • Strong experience with Flow Control, Pump Systems, Auto Cad, Machine Design, Pressure product, and Process Engineering
  • Proficiency in 3D Printing and Valves
  • Experience with Customer Interfacing and ability to translate technical language to lay audiences
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • High level of self-motivation, drive, and willingness to learn new skills
