Job Overview

DynaFire Inc is seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting fire sprinkler inspections and services to ensure compliance with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough fire sprinkler inspections and services to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Schedule inspections with clients and build strong relationships with AHJs to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management to ensure timely completion of scope of work.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and apply knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, and 25 standards.
  • File electronic copies of completed paperwork and maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to after-hours service calls.
  • Inform management of any job-related issues or concerns and provide feedback on sales leads and change order opportunities.
  • Learn to perform basic troubleshooting on fire alarms and silencing beeping panels.
  • Comply with all DynaFire policies and procedures and maintain required equipment on the tool list.
  • Follow DynaFire's safety procedures and client safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Safely operate construction equipment and participate in training classes to grow professionally and increase industry knowledge.
  • Learn and apply DynaFire's mission statement and Core Values.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in fire sprinkler service
  • FASA certification
  • Back-flow certification
  • NICET Level II or equivalent in water-based systems
  • Proficient in office hardware and software tools used by DynaFire
  • Fluent in back-flow, wet system, dry system, fire pump, fire pump controller, and alarm device terminology as well as troubleshooting procedures
