DynaFire Inc is seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing service calls, troubleshooting and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, and ensuring that all installations meet the highest quality standards set forth by DynaFire.
Key Responsibilities- Service Calls: Perform service calls, including troubleshooting and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Installation and Service: Install and service fire sprinkler systems to a wide range of clients with various applications of fire protection systems.
- Client Communication: Respond to client's service related issues effectively and promptly, and build and maintain a good working relationship with AHJ's.
- Documentation and Reporting: Interpret shop and contract drawings regarding scope of work, and communicate the needs required for the scope of work to be completed on schedule.
- Training and Instruction: Train and instruct the client on proper use of all equipment installed, and ensure that all staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Compliance and Safety: Understand and apply NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, and 25, and follow DynaFire's safety procedures in addition to the client's safety program.
- Equipment Maintenance: Acquire and maintain required equipment on the tool list, and safely operate construction equipment including, but not limited to, step ladders, extension ladders, scissor lifts, hand tools, power tools, cutting tools, powder actuated tools.
- Professional Development: Participate in training classes to grow professionally and increase one's knowledge of the industry, and learn and apply DynaFire mission statement and Core Values.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in fire sprinkler service.
- Certifications: FASA certification, NICET Level I or the equivalent in water based systems within 24 months from date of hire.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in office hardware and software tools used by DynaFire, and fluent in back-flow, wet system, dry system, fire pump, fire pump controller, and alarm device terminology as well as troubleshooting procedures.
