We are seeking a dedicated Office Manager to oversee our clinical operations at West Volusia Family and Sports Medicine. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our practice, which has been serving the community for over a decade. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and managerial capabilities, working closely with our healthcare team to enhance patient flow and streamline daily operations.

Essential Qualifications
  • Preferred experience as a Medical Assistant (not mandatory)
  • Proficient in computer systems, medical apparatus, and electronic health records
  • Familiarity with E-Clinical Works is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of Billing and Coding is advantageous
Educational Background
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Assistant Certification or similar credentials
Key Competencies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, expanding environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Adaptability in a dynamic healthcare landscape
Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee all critical functions and responsibilities of the medical practice
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new Medical Assistants and Back Office personnel
  • Act as a mentor for newly hired Medical Assistants and Back Office staff
  • Coordinate with management regarding staff scheduling, time off approvals, and sick leave
  • Supervise workflow and manage the performance of Medical Assistants and Front Desk personnel
  • Implement training and skills assessments to ensure high performance among staff
  • Support management in conducting staff meetings and company events
  • Participate in management meetings and training sessions
  • Collaborate with Physicians and Management to ensure adequate staffing in critical clinic areas
  • Evaluate and report on the performance of Medical Assistants and front desk staff
  • Work with Providers to manage patient care effectively
