Avionics Maintenance Technician

The Avionics Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, removal, and replacement of aircraft instrument and avionics components and systems using basic hand tools and test equipment to meet manufacturer's specifications, FAR's, and industry standards in a safe and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test aircraft instrument and avionics components and systems to identify defects or malfunctions
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, including wiring and circuitry
  • Remove and replace aircraft instrument and avionics components and systems as required
  • Use basic hand tools and test equipment to perform maintenance tasks
  • Meet manufacturer's specifications, FAR's, and industry standards for maintenance and repair

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in avionics maintenance or related field
  • Knowledge of aircraft instrument and avionics systems and components
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
