Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder Sales Account Executive to join our team. This role involves identifying potential clients, generating leads through various channels, and building strong relationships with existing and new customers.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify potential clients and develop opportunities for growth, generate leads through calls, emails, social media, industry publications, and other channels, schedule face-to-face and virtual meetings with clients or potential customers.
  • Portfolio Management: Maintain a list of existing accounts and prospects by regularly engaging with decision makers, conduct frequent calls or visits to existing clients, build and maintain strong relationships with individuals, travel around the country to build and maintain professional and personable relationships with clients and explore new markets.
  • Reporting: Maintain records of all sales activities through CRM software, prepare sales reports and provide market insight to other departments.
  • Pricing: Understand and communicate client needs to other departments to ensure client satisfaction, prepare quotes in accordance with the company's profit guidelines.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or similar roles related to Freight Forwarding and domestic transportation.
  • Knowledge of US imports regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in interacting both with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with clients.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Outlook, MS PowerPoint & MS Word).
Compensation and Benefits
  • Estimated annual salary: $70,000-$100,000 based on experience.
