As a key member of our court support staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing various court-related documentation, and performing administrative and clerical support tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Provide customer service functions by telephone, by mail, and in person, including responding to routine and complex questions or complaints.
Process various court-related documentation, including assisting in preparing, receiving, responding to, and processing subpoenas, court orders, hearings, continuances, bench and probation warrants, case initiation documents, case dispositions, citations, deeds, and other legal documents.
Collect, record, and process fees, including processing court payments, taxes, recording fees, and other items according to division/department assignment and per established procedures.
Enter data from court and legal documents into computer systems, databases, and applications, including scanning, indexing, and recording court case information and legal documents.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; supplemented by two years of experience providing administrative or clerical support.
Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds).
Ability to communicate orally and perform tasks without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
