Position Overview

Join our team at United Rotary Brush Corporation as a Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift. We are a leading manufacturer specializing in industrial brushes, catering to various sectors including airport operations, road construction, and street maintenance.

Our Olathe, KS facility is dedicated to producing high-quality products, and we seek individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to fostering a safe and efficient production environment.

Compensation and Schedule
$2500 in bonuses available for eligible candidates.
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:20 PM - 2:50 AM (initial training on 1st shift).

Job Responsibilities
This role involves a diverse range of maintenance tasks, including:

  • Conducting inspections and performing replacements, alignments, and installations.
  • Maintaining mechanical equipment, electrical controls, and fluid systems.
  • Executing troubleshooting for mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and control issues.
  • Installing and repairing mechanical power transmission systems, including gearboxes and conveyors.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting pneumatic systems, air compressors, and hydraulic systems.
  • Repairing and maintaining extruders, fans, and blowers.
  • Utilizing machine shop equipment and performing welding tasks as needed.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing setting.
  • A two-year technical degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous.
