Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician, as part of a team, conducts, maintains, tests, and repairs mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. The position applies knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. The maintenance technician provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of manufacturing.
Responsibilities include performing work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment. The technician installs, starts up, and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown, and in line with OSHA requirements. They advise operators on operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components, maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment, perform preventive maintenance functions, and communicate with the Maintenance Safety Supervisor to ensure that all production equipment is maintained and running.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components
- Apply knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operation
- Provide skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of manufacturing

- Install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic principles
- Experience with 3-phase, 480
- Understanding of local and national electrical codes
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance
Climate controlled manufacturing facility.
Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday - Friday, with OT as needed
