About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive customer relationships, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiate sales agreements to drive revenue growth.
  • Cultivate Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and provide proactive support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry developments, market trends, and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or hospitality.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Results-Driven: A proven track record of driving sales growth, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the beverage industry, including wine and spirits, and a strong understanding of the sales process.
