Business Development Representative

Job Summary:

Promote and sell Franchise services in assigned territory, meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals. Grow and develop customer base by identifying new prospects and cultivating relationships through routine contact, visits, and follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quota by executing the sales cycle, setting up closing appointments, maintaining contact lists, participating in professional associations, hosting lunch-and-learns, and promoting continuing education courses.
  • Complete Emergency Ready Profiles and discuss benefits of emergency event preparation.
  • Conduct daily marketing contacts and build customer relationships by educating them on SERVPRO's benefits.
  • Compile and maintain center of influence information and identify top 25 contacts to develop into clients.
  • Provide clear and accurate pretesting, scoping of services, and job estimates, and monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs to ensure customer needs are met.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of progressively responsible business-to-business sales experience.
  • Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector.
  • Superb sales, customer service, administrative, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong business and financial background and process-and-results-driven attitude.
  • Working knowledge of current business software technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience.
