Position Overview:

The primary role of the Client Support Representative at Bluestone Bank is to deliver exceptional customer service and sales support via telephone communication. This position involves responding to incoming calls from clients seeking assistance with their accounts, inquiries about products, and the establishment of new accounts. Additionally, the Client Support Representative will initiate outbound calls to clients for specific service requests or to introduce them to new offerings and address any questions they may have.

  • Provide assistance to clients in a courteous and professional manner, adhering to Bluestone Bank's service standards.
  • Address inquiries and concerns from clients regarding banking products and services, recommend suitable options, and direct them to the appropriate personnel for additional services when necessary.
  • Manage client complaints and fulfill other service requests.
  • Welcome clients to the bank's digital platforms, products, and services.
  • Comprehend and comply with bank policies and procedures related to daily operations, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in all mandatory training sessions, including regulatory and internal training.
  • Meet monthly sales, referral, and service objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule Expectations:

The Client Support Representative is expected to arrive punctually for their scheduled shifts. They must be prepared to handle calls promptly at the beginning of their assigned work hours and adhere strictly to their work schedules and designated break times. Flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate the needs of the business.

While fulfilling the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, communicate verbally, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may need to lift and/or move items weighing up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in customer service is required.
  • Preferred: One or more years of experience in the banking sector, with a strong understanding of banking products and services.
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
  • Ability to interact with clients in a manner that requires tact and diplomacy.
  • Capability to quickly learn and effectively utilize various software applications.
