Additionally, the CFO will supervise employee benefits and evaluate financial performance, profitability, and adherence to budgetary constraints.

  • Directs the financial operations of the organization and prepares detailed analyses, including interim and final financial statements with supporting documentation, to inform the President, senior management, and the Board of Directors.
  • Administers the company’s accounting framework and ensures accurate record-keeping of all transactions and assets.
  • Establishes key economic objectives and policies for the organization, generating reports that outline the financial status, including income, expenditures, and profits, based on historical, current, and projected operations.
  • Leads the formulation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, implementing and maintaining planning and control processes, including cost accounting, while analyzing and reporting on variances.
  • Coordinates with government accounting and auditing agencies, recommending or negotiating solutions for compliance and regulatory issues.
  • Ensures adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations, including corporate and payroll taxes. Advises management on operational adjustments in response to tax law changes.
  • Oversees Management Information Systems and generates necessary internal and external reports, updating them as required.
  • Collaborates with external auditors for annual financial statement and employee benefit plan audits, assessing their performance.
Required Skills:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a CFO role.
  • Background in the manufacturing industry or a comparable sector, with plant knowledge.
Preferred Education:
  • MBA is highly desirable.
