**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residence Care Specialist to join our team at ADAPT Community Network. As a key member of our residential services, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a safe and homelike environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide personalized care and assistance with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal planning, and transportation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy living environment by performing household duties, cooking, laundry, and light maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement behavioral programs to promote independence and skill-building.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized plans.
  • Respond to crisis situations and medical emergencies with quick and decisive action.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; six months of related experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues, residents, and their families.
  • The ability to analyze problems and determine corrective measures is critical for success in this role.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
