Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to various project sites across the United States and the Caribbean to oversee project management activities.
  • Supervise the physical construction processes, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, local and national building regulations, and project-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain accurate documentation and reports regarding project delays, workarounds, and other critical updates.
  • Resolve conflicts on-site and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a cooperative team environment.
  • Ensure quality assurance and control for all aspects of the project scope and schedule.
  • Attend all inspections related to assigned projects.
  • Manage the MSS tool tracking program, providing feedback on its application to projects and personnel.
  • Forecast labor and equipment needs for assigned projects, organizing resources to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Interpret complex blueprints and installation manuals to guide project execution.
  • Address job-related challenges and propose solutions to the Project Team and Field Operations Manager.
  • Act as a liaison with client representatives, tracking project progress and reporting to management on a weekly basis.
  • Oversee safety protocols on-site, assisting the safety manager in maintaining a secure working environment.
  • Coordinate daily operations with project managers and manage subcontractor activities to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Document any issues that may hinder project progress or compliance with requirements.
  • Participate in the selection and interviewing of field staff for project assignments.
  • Engage in all project meetings and conduct safety briefings.
  • Perform employee evaluations for project staff.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the company.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing site logistics and contract operations, particularly in urban settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction phases, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Strong technical and communication skills are essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, hydronic piping, and plumbing.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with BIM coordinated projects is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
  • OSHA 30 certification is required.
Education

A Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial or industrial construction as a Superintendent or Foreman is preferred.
