Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Audiology Technician to assist our Audiologist in the performance of audiologic evaluations and the fitting of hearing aids. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient support for walk-in and telephone hearing aid problems.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Audiologist in Audiological Evaluations
  • Taking accurate ear mold impressions
  • Preparing the mold for shipping
  • Tracking hearing aid orders and communicating with vendors
  • Monitoring supplies
  • Routine repairs of hearing aids
  • Clean and maintain audiologic equipment in accordance with OSHA standards
  • Provide chart review as needed
  • Instruct clients in the proper maintenance, cleaning and use of hearing aids and/or assisted listening devices (ALD)
  • Communicating and documenting patient education and reports in the medical record
  • Cerumen Management
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent and training
  • One-year experience as Audiology Technician is preferred
  • One-year previous medical experience or training in medical fields (such as medical assistant, lab assistant, LPN).
  • Dependable, professional, punctual and must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently
  • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
