Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our General Aviation team at GPAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems, including engine, propeller, electrical, and control systems.
  • Test and diagnose issues with aircraft components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with senior personnel and customers to provide estimates and updates on repair status.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer and Repair Station specifications.
Requirements:
  • Airframe and Power Plant License required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Basic computer competencies.
  • Positive, friendly attitude, with eagerness to improve and learn new technology.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with others effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in General Aviation.
  • IA certification is a plus.
  • Part 91, 135, or 145 experience within an MRO or FBO base.
