We are seeking a highly skilled Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our General Aviation team at GPAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems, including engine, propeller, electrical, and control systems.
- Test and diagnose issues with aircraft components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special equipment.
- Communicate effectively with senior personnel and customers to provide estimates and updates on repair status.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer and Repair Station specifications.
- Airframe and Power Plant License required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Basic computer competencies.
- Positive, friendly attitude, with eagerness to improve and learn new technology.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with others effectively.
- 5+ years of experience in General Aviation.
- IA certification is a plus.
- Part 91, 135, or 145 experience within an MRO or FBO base.
