Our clinics offer a variety of services, including family medicine, urgent care, and integrated behavioral health, catering to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory and supplies for examination rooms, adhering to clinic standards and safety regulations.
- Ensure patient charts are complete and assist with the processing of referrals and lab orders.
- Communicate any delays to patients promptly.
- Maintain accurate records in relevant data systems.
- Keep patient care areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness in the Medical Assistant work area.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, anticipating their needs.
- Conduct patient assessments, including gathering medical history and vital signs.
- Act as a communication bridge between patients and medical staff.
- Assist in training new staff members.
- Provide support in various clinic areas as needed.
- Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of injection techniques and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with universal precautions and infection control.
- Strong documentation skills for patient information.
- Ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Capability to manage patient flow in a busy clinic setting.
- Flexibility to work varied hours to meet patient needs.
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Certification and experience in a community health setting are advantageous.
