Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Specialist to join our team at the Department of Defense. As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to peer and junior contracting personnel, organizational stakeholders, and leadership to produce accurate and complete, complex contracting documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute total responsibility for all assigned contracts.
  • Guide and shape procurement strategies and contract execution.
  • Constructively question conventional approaches and support an environment that encourages new ideas.
  • Serve as a resource to others regarding relevant regulations, guidelines, laws, and directives.
Requirements
  • Demonstrates experience leading a complex source selection.
  • Experience with multiple contract types.
  • Currently possesses or previously held a Contracting Officer's Warrant above the simplified acquisition threshold.
