Job Title: Department Manager

At Floor & Decor Holdings, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to join our team. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct weekly competitive shops to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
  • Communicate pricing and inventory issues to the senior team and analyze business reports to inform merchandising and pricing decisions.
  • Utilize computer and point of sale systems to maintain accurate inventory and manage profit and loss.
  • Ensure brand standards and operating standards are met or exceeded to support brand consistency.
  • Interface with corporate headquarters employees and address store-level human resources or loss prevention issues as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of retail management experience and proven ability to direct operations.
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume, highly complex location.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to increase the company's overall market share.
