Teaching Opportunity in Psychology

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking a qualified instructor to teach Psychology courses and create engaging learning environments that respect a wide variety of viewpoints.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated educator to instruct students in all Psychology courses, developing syllabi, course materials, and assignments to support course learning outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver Psychology courses, ensuring students achieve course learning outcomes as defined in the syllabus.
  • Maintain electronic records of student performance, progress, and attendance using Blackboard.
  • Complete start and end-of-semester responsibilities, including submission of no-show rosters and final grades.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Psychology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of teaching or industry experience.
  • Experience using online learning management systems (Blackboard).
  • Experience working with students from diverse academic backgrounds and life experiences.
  • Ability to employ a range of classroom/instructional technologies.
  • Flexible availability, including evening and weekends.
