This position is an exciting opportunity to join Booker DiMaio, LLC as a skilled Computer Systems Administrator. The role is based in Frederick, MD, with the option to work from home one day a week.

We are seeking a candidate with US Citizenship, as a Public Trust Clearance is required for this position.

This is a 6-month contract, and the selected candidate will be paid on a 1099 hourly basis. Please include your hourly 1099 rate with your application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware and Software Installation: Setting up and maintaining computer hardware and software, including operating systems and applications.
  • Configuration and Troubleshooting: Configuring systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to users.
  • Security: Maintaining security for networks and systems, including performing security tests and monitoring.
  • Performance: Evaluating and optimizing network and system performance.
  • User Management: Adding users to networks, assigning security permissions, and training users.
  • Monitoring: Monitoring data centers and resources to ensure systems are working properly.
  • Backups and Disaster Recovery: Performing data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly resolving network problems, such as computer viruses, slow performance, and DNS issues.
  • Updates: Keeping equipment and software up to date.
  • Incident Response: Responding to incidents and providing problem resolution assistance.

Requirements:

  • Experience with hardware and software installation.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, and Virtual Machines (VMs).
