Job Summary:The Loan Workout Specialist will be responsible for participating in or providing support for low complexity initiatives within Loan Workout. This will include reviewing basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Loan Workout.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Loan Workout.
- Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Loan Workout.
- Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Provide information to client personnel in Loan Workout.
- Physically record wet signatures, scan and upload packets of signed legal documents to retention system.
- Partner with up to 14 different law firms/legal partners to provide notifications of new daily uploads.
- Ship out hard copies of documents to legal partners and destroy documents in accordance with compliance policy.
- 6+ months of Loan Workout or Commercial Lending experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- Legal administration/support experience.
- Ability to combine documents in Adobe Reader.
- User level experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and One Note.
- Experience with shipping documents with FedEx.
- Working knowledge of legal civil procedures.
- Must be highly organized.
- Strong time management skills (will be working with hundreds of time-sensitive documents that come in weekly).
- Partnership skills - ability to work with Q/A team.
- 6+ months of legal admin experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience supporting paralegals, attorneys, or court systems will be helpful.
