The Bilingual Customer Service Representative is a key member of the back-office support team for our Automated Traffic Safety Enforcement program.

This role requires a high degree of efficiency, dependability, reliability, and accountability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering inbound calls from citizens who have received a notice about a parking violation.
  • Providing one-stop resolution and education to the public on programs and services.
  • Handling calls and information, including incoming calls, documents, data entry, scheduling, and mailings.
  • Displaying a positive, professional, and empathetic customer-focused approach.
  • Maintaining programs and technical knowledge related to services for each client.
  • Exhibiting effective communication skills tailored to each audience.
  • Able to document public interactions clearly and concisely.

Additional requirements include:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of customer service experience with a minimum of 1 year of inbound call center experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with varying personalities and defuse sensitive situations under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Minimum of 30-35 words per minute typing skills.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
