The Bilingual Customer Service Representative is a key member of the back-office support team for our Automated Traffic Safety Enforcement program.
This role requires a high degree of efficiency, dependability, reliability, and accountability.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering inbound calls from citizens who have received a notice about a parking violation.
- Providing one-stop resolution and education to the public on programs and services.
- Handling calls and information, including incoming calls, documents, data entry, scheduling, and mailings.
- Displaying a positive, professional, and empathetic customer-focused approach.
- Maintaining programs and technical knowledge related to services for each client.
- Exhibiting effective communication skills tailored to each audience.
- Able to document public interactions clearly and concisely.
Additional requirements include:
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of customer service experience with a minimum of 1 year of inbound call center experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with varying personalities and defuse sensitive situations under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Minimum of 30-35 words per minute typing skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
