Key Responsibilities of a Systems Engineer
- Utilizes principles and theories of system design to assist in the sales, installation, and maintenance of Tech Electronics' systems.
- Ensures that system design and technical support adhere to relevant codes, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Comprehends the strategic goals and objectives of each Strategic Business Unit.
- Manages various aspects of design and engineering tasks, including basic system installations and modifications.
- Responds to customer inquiries effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Engages directly with clients through quotations, meetings, presentations, and technical support to ascertain and define their needs.
- Collaborates with other designers and engineers to produce accurate drawings from sketches, existing designs, and electronic images, as well as customer specifications.
- Works closely with all departments to ensure that drawings convey accurate information and are free of errors.
- Maintains knowledge of systems and relevant codes as directed.
Qualifications for the Systems Engineer Role
- Associate degree in electronics, electrical or computer engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a design or engineering role.
- Familiarity with CAD and drafting methodologies.
- Understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools used in creating technical plans, blueprints, drawings, specifications, and models.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer, local area network, and wide area network technologies.
