We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Technology Manager to join our team at Cox Communications. As a key member of our Marketing Operations organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing technology solutions to enhance the performance and measurement of our paid media and SEM campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Coordinate data transfers between media and online platforms using Snowflake and Cox's Enterprise Data Warehouse, leveraging expert SQL knowledge and custom Python scripts.
  • Collaboration: Work with external consultants to develop or enhance Python scripts for data ETL processes and collaborate with digital, marketing, and external teams to define data requirements.
  • Project Management: Manage solution implementation timelines, launches, and quality assurance, ensuring timely and effective delivery of technology solutions.
  • Analysis and Optimization: Analyze Cox audiences and optimize targeting methodologies, administer customer and prospect lists efficiently, and supervise 3rd party data onboarding on technology platforms.
  • Database Management: Oversee segment logic setup and maintenance, integrating martech data stacks, and lead database matching efforts and manage media tagging via Tealium.
  • Reporting and Insights: Present insights and opportunities to cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, and implement and maintain retargeting logic across media partners.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 6 years of relevant experience, or alternative qualifications such as a master's degree with 4 years of experience, a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, or 10 years of experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (Intermediate) and SQL (Expert), with strong coding and debugging skills, familiarity with AWS, Snowflake, and collaborative team participation.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills, willingness to adapt to new technologies and ideas, manage external vendors, and work independently.
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Strong preference for a degree in computer science or relevant field, ability to comprehend intricate AdTech data flows, propose optimal data solutions, and experience with Amazon and Google AdTech solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with MarTech, industry standards, and collaboration with multiple agency partners, expertise in Informatica, data management platforms, and technology stack setup.
  • Business Acumen: Acumen in online marketing tactics, KPIs, and business analytics, previous experience in the telecommunications sector.
