FleetPride is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of up to $40 per hour, plus monthly bonuses based on productivity. Our technicians are paid weekly and receive benefits, including 401K with match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more.

Job Description

In this role, you will work on nearly everything that comes in the door, from preventative maintenance to full in-frame engine rebuilds. You will be expected to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues, including air systems, electrical diagnosis and schematics, starting systems, brakes, wheel ends, coolant systems, AC diagnostics and repairs, steering and alignment issues, drivetrain diagnostics and repairs, transmissions, clutches, differentials, after treatment systems, upper and lower engine work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience in truck and trailer repair. You should be willing to coach other technicians as needed and have good communication skills with the service manager, service writer, and customers about jobs in progress. A valid driver's license and CDL (if not already held) are required. Proficiency in tools and equipment, such as Matco tool program, is also essential.
