Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator III to join our team at Professional Placement Source in Los Angeles, California. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in administering commercial contracts for large-scale construction projects.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure contractual compliance and effective communication with stakeholders
  • Prepare and facilitate the merit process for change claims, ensuring subject matter experts review all documentation
  • Assemble task orders and change orders, reviewing concurrence letters for contractual requirements
  • Monitor insurance compliance and ensure timely contract administration for change documentation
  • Prepare reports and correspondence, attending various meetings, including pre-bid proposal and post-bid proposal debriefings
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in contract administration for commercial/government projects
  • Experience in alternative project delivery methods, including Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR)
  • Comfortable operating in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment
  • Produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a customer service attitude
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related field, training in procurement, contract, construction, and commercial law
