Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Synchrony Health Services. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Preparation and Dispensing: Prepare and dispense medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Pharmacological Information and Counseling: Provide pharmacological information and counseling to healthcare professionals and patients, promoting optimal medication use and patient outcomes.
  • Medication Therapy Management: Monitor and manage patient medication therapies, identifying potential issues and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Record Keeping and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient medications, inventory, and controlled substances.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, related to medication management and controlled substances.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) degree accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
  • Licenses/Certifications: North American Pharmacist Licensure Exam (NAPLEX), Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Exam (MPJE), and state-specific license where required.
  • Experience: Five (5) years' experience in a pharmacy environment, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
