Join Our Team as a Substitute Paraprofessional/Classroom Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Substitute Paraprofessional/Classroom Assistant at Children's Kiva Montessori School. As a key member of our educational team, you will provide instructional and enrichment assistance to students, supervise students in various school settings, and perform various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers to provide instructional and enrichment assistance to students
  • Supervise students in various school settings and situations
  • Provide clerical support, including taking attendance and maintaining student records
  • Assist in the maintenance of students' records, including grade records and diagnostic test scores
  • Provide general assistance to students in non-instructional situations
  • May administer minor first aid in the absence of other personnel
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and experience in education
  • Substitute Authorization through CDE (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally be required to run a short distance, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
