Job Opportunity at Durango 4C Council (Tri-County Head Start)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a substitute teacher in our Preschool or Toddler classrooms. As a substitute, you will assist in providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the lead teacher in maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children aged 1-5 years
  • Criminal background check required

Benefits:

Work Schedule:

Part-time, variable schedule, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The more availability you have, the more hours you could receive per week.

Compensation:

The current hourly wage ranges from $18.01, depending on education and experience.
