At Groups Recover Together, our Counselors are essential to our mission. If you are passionate about facilitating group therapy, this position is tailored for you. In this role, you will not be expected to manage every aspect of care independently. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, which includes prescribers, care navigators, peer recovery coaches, and office managers. Together, we strive to provide a comprehensive clinical model that emphasizes the importance of counseling, medication, and community support in achieving lasting recovery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the treatment team and serve as the authority on addiction and recovery, coordinating treatment decisions for members.
- Manage a caseload and schedule that aligns with the needs of the office and enhances your clinical expertise.
- Collaborate with team members regarding the clinical service model.
- Facilitate 2-3 group therapy sessions per week, focusing on recovery skills and community building through our established curriculum.
- Document member progress using outcome measures and client feedback.
- Engage proactively in community outreach activities, including:
- Distributing promotional materials to community stakeholders.
- Participating in community meetings related to substance use and addiction.
We offer a range of benefits for our team members, including:
- No mandatory one-on-one sessions or intake assessments, allowing you to focus on leading groups.
- A healthy work-life balance with flexible scheduling tailored to your needs.
- Competitive salary and a generous paid time off package.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, 401k with matching contributions, HSA, FSA, and paid parental leave.
- Investment in your professional growth with paid training time and an annual stipend for continuing education.
- A clear career advancement path based on performance, with the necessary tools provided for your professional development.
- Active behavioral health license in IN, such as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, or associate-level licensure.
- Demonstrated compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and dedication to member success.
- Availability to work 2-3 evenings per week, as needed.
- Preferred backgrounds include experience in mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, or medication-assisted treatment.
