Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Histotechnologist II to join our team at SF Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for preparing slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists, ensuring proper accessioning and labeling of tissue samples, and performing various laboratory procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare slides for routine Hematoxylin and Eosin staining, as well as special stain procedures
  • Embed processed tissue in paraffin and perform microtomy
  • Prepare solutions and reagents for special stain procedures and IHC testing
  • Perform filing of finished blocks and slides, and maintain a clean and well-organized work area
  • Provide training and guidance to Histotechnicians, students, and lab aides
  • Adhere to laboratory quality control policies and document all quality control activities
Requirements
  • Previous histotech background required
  • BS, ASCP HT
