About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Dow. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to address plant issues that impact production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance operating discipline.
  • Provide technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating equipment performance.
  • Ensure that work requests include engineering input on repair details and provide onsite/offsite technical support as needed.
  • Document and maintain repair techniques and equipment-specific training.
  • Provide maintainability input to Global Project Methodology activities.
  • Support the preventive maintenance coordinator in reviewing spare parts lists for existing equipment.
  • Enter quality, service, and product performance information into the reporting system.
  • Participate in developing the maintenance budget to support the maintenance strategy.
  • Provide engineering input for work packages to ensure standards are followed.
  • Provide equipment reliability and performance data to technical resource networks for input into equipment purchasing requirements and vendor performance evaluation.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant military experience.
  • Ability to work comfortably and safely at elevated heights.
  • Willingness to undergo training in safety equipment usage and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
