pJob Summary/ppAs a Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Manager at Scotiabank, you will be responsible for creating, designing, and developing credit risk portfolio reporting tools to present U.S. Credit Risk portfolio information to senior management. You will also optimize and expand existing management information systems to provide robust day-to-day credit risk portfolio monitoring tools for U.S. Credit Risk team members./ppbKey Responsibilities/b/pulliWork with the Global Risk Reporting team to create and design credit risk portfolio reporting tools./liliOptimize and expand existing management information systems to provide robust day-to-day credit risk portfolio monitoring tools./liliLead monthly credit risk portfolio reporting and preparation of standard regulatory reporting presentation and information packages./liliServe as the responsible data quality officer for U.S. Credit Risk data./liliCollect, aggregate, and serve as the lead officer for remediation of data quality gaps./liliLead the monthly and quarterly reconciliation of reporting between U.S. Credit and Finance./liliDevelop and implement processes, procedures, and controls related to credit risk portfolio reporting and data quality control./liliProvide timely responses to frequent ad hoc reporting and portfolio information requests./li/ulpbRequirements/b/pulliA minimum of three or more years of progressive, relevant, and practical experience in a financial institution./liliCredit risk knowledge and experience is an asset./liliA relevant university degree is a requirement./liliAdvanced data management and report building skills are important./liliProficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and preferably SQL is required./li/ul
