Job Title: Senior Credit Portfolio Manager

At Apollo Global Management, Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Portfolio Manager to join our expanding Client Portfolio Management & Innovation team (CPMI). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive growth and profitability in our Credit vertical.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential investors to represent Apollo's Credit strategies for the Global Wealth Management Solutions (GWMS) platform.
  • Collaborate with the CPMI team to drive strategic AUM growth for the firm's Credit strategies.
  • Work closely with investment management professionals to understand the rationale behind investments in Apollo Credit strategies.
  • Deliver tailored content and messaging to the GWMS investor base.
  • Analyze market dynamics and innovate business development activities and strategies.
  • Lead client dialogues with investors, utilizing breadth of asset class knowledge.
  • Engage with the GWMS sales and National Accounts teams to continuously evolve pitch/approach to meet market dynamics.
  • Build relationships with investors, gaining a thorough understanding of their internal approval processes and how new products fit in their overall portfolios.
  • Provide intelligence on investor sentiment and competitive landscape.
  • Travel for client meetings, conferences, and speaking engagements.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 6+ years of industry experience related to Credit investing and/or Capital Markets.
  • Deep understanding of asset management, global diversified firms, and product distribution/fundraising in Global Wealth.
  • Experience in business development, strategy, research, and synthesis of research findings.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and pivot between research, analysis, and written communication of findings.
  • Self-starter with strong ability to think independently, strategically, and outside-the-box to generate new potential organic growth opportunities.
  • Outstanding written and oral presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence the sales process.
  • Ability to handle a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing initiatives.

The base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $235,000, and this position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance.
