Main Responsibilities:
  • Process AP invoices in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve questions regarding AP invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with external vendors and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to ensure seamless integration of accounts payable processes and accurate billing records.
  • Run weekly AP reports and summarize outstanding issues for review.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues related to vendor payments or discrepancies in collaboration with the accounting team.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for all transactions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls.
  • Run monthly cost, revenue, and accounts receivable reports for review with project teams as they relate to project billing.
  • Support the Accounting Manager on billing, budgeting, job set-up, cost-related reviews, and reporting questions and issues.
  • Provide support to the accounting team as needed, participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvements.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations for specific accounts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or similar)
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Accounting Management Systems
  • This position is eligible for a hybrid workplace schedule, with a 2-day in-office requirement
