Patient Account Resolution Specialist

About the Role:
This position is responsible for resolving unpaid or underpaid insurance balances in a timely manner while maintaining department standards. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research and resolve unpaid or underpaid insurance balances on a daily basis
* Monitor reports to ensure all balances are received and processed in a timely manner
* Identify and communicate system and reimbursement problems to facilitate efficient and accurate review of payers
Requirements:
* 1-2 years' experience in third-party healthcare billing
* Proficiency in hospital billing systems and external computer-generated media
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to negotiate and problem solve independently
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
