About the Role

The Government & Commercial Fleet Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the administrative operations and procedures of the fleet department, ensuring seamless execution of government and commercial contracts. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong communication skills to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Government and Commercial General Managers on orders, bids, paperwork processing, and pricing requests.
  • Provide operational/administrative support, including vehicle quotes, orders, aftermarket/upfitter assistance, vehicle status reports, invoice/PO processing, fleet deal organization, accounting reconciliation, and paperwork audits.
  • Review manufacturer's/corporate account websites for important messages regarding buildouts and pricing, and update documents accordingly.
  • Communicate proactively with fleet accounts and dealership partners on order details, payment reminders, vehicle delivery scheduling, resolve fleet issues as needed, and provide high-quality service to internal and external customers.
  • Develop user-friendly fleet operational process documents to ensure fleet operations efficiency.
  • Maintain all fleet logins, passwords, and other office/operational requests.
  • Perform additional operational and administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of dealership or equivalent fleet account management/experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with management, dealership employees, and customers.
  • Manage challenges, be solution-oriented, work productively, and meet deadlines and company standards.
  • Must be detailed, goal-oriented, and have effective time management skills.
  • Positive attitude, willing to help others.
  • Great customer service skills with timely follow-up.
  • Strong self-management and self-direction skills.
  • Must be able to make calculations, verify figures, and collect payments from customers.
  • Computer skills: proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Drive.
  • Must be willing to travel to home office, fleet customers, and dealerships as-needed.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a notary license (or currently a notary).
  • Maintain a valid/active United States-issued driver's license.
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation

$55,000 - $70,000 Annual Salary.

The salary you will receive can fluctuate based on several personalized factors, such as the job's geographical location, your expertise, skills, and professional background. Additionally, the comprehensive compensation package associated with this role might encompass additional components, which will be contingent upon the specific job offer extended to you.
