The Role:

Cheese Specialist

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cheese Specialist to join our team. As a Cheese Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Guiding Customers: Providing expert advice on cheese and wine pairings, helping customers make informed decisions.
  • Developing Cheese Knowledge: Staying up-to-date on the latest cheese trends, varieties, and production methods.
  • Managing Stock: Ensuring cheese freshness and rotating inventory to maintain a visually appealing display.
  • Educating Customers: Sharing your knowledge of cheese with customers, helping them to appreciate the nuances of different types and styles.
  • Creating Displays: Designing and maintaining attractive cheese displays that showcase our products in the best possible light.
  • Staying Trendy: Keeping up-to-date with the latest cheese trends and new products, ensuring our customers have access to the best and latest offerings.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Providing a friendly, personable, and attentive service to customers.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills, including inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
