Urban Pathways, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Social Services to oversee the clinical and case management functions of our program.
Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise the Social Services Department, ensuring compliance with regulatory agency policies and procedures.
- Oversee clinical provisions, including casework, case plans, housing placements, substance abuse/MICA counseling, and incident reporting.
- Assess and coordinate staff training needs, preparing and submitting timely and accurate reports to regulatory and funding agencies.
- Provide back-up administrative coverage and monitor employee timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Ensure timely evaluations of social service staff and identify areas for improvement.
- Master's degree in social work or a closely related clinical field.
- Minimum of five years of clinical and supervisory experience.
- Professional license (LCSW) preferred.
- Experience with homeless populations, mental health conditions, and substance abuse.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, team-building, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client relational databases (e.g., AWARDS).
