The Life Enrichment Coordinator role at the NEEDS Center offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with autism. About the Position

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting adults with autism in their daily routines, developing daily living skills, and providing clinical, educational, and vocational support. You will also participate in creating a therapeutic environment that fosters engagement, socialization, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting adults with autism in developing daily living skills, including grooming, arts & crafts, dressing, cleaning, and toileting.
  • Providing clinical, educational, and vocational support, as well as observing and recording data for programs established in individual behavior support plans.
  • Collaborating with other team members to plan and implement recreational, educational, and social activities that promote engagement and well-being.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience with behavior management is preferred but not required.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
Compensation and Benefits

  • $21-$22 per hour (plus potential increase with MAP certification).
