Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Specialists. In this role, you will work closely with adults with autism to promote independence, socialization, and personal growth.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting and supporting adults with autism in their daily routines, including developing daily living skills such as grooming, arts & crafts, dressing, cleaning, and toileting.
  • Providing clinical, educational, and vocational support, as well as observing and recording data for programs established in individual behavior support plans.
  • Participating with other team members to create a therapeutic environment that includes planning and helping with recreational, educational, and social activities to engage individuals and enhance their quality of life.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience with behavior management is preferred but not required.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
