Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for computer systems and networks
  • Assist in the coordination of personal computer service, maintenance, and training
  • Provide basic and advanced hardware and software technical support to users
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on field personal computers and related equipment
  • Analyze the need for new computer equipment and recommend means of acquisition
  • Investigate staff misconduct related to information and computer security
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must have IT-related experience demonstrating attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have one year of specialized experience at the next lower GS-grade (or equivalent)
