We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant/LPN to join our team at Blue Ridge Health. As a key member of our medical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and cooperative team environment.
Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced medical office setting.
- Obtain and record vital signs, perform basic medical procedures, and collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
- Record patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems and maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answer phones, and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant preferred – Must obtain certification within 18 months of hire date if not currently certified.
- Licensed Practical Nurses – NC licensure preferred (we will pay for your license renewal).
- Medical phone triage experience preferred.
- Ability to float between nearby clinical sites as needed.
- Bi-Lingual (preferred, but not required – we pay extra per hour for your language skills).
