About the Role

Marex Spectron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Derivatives Trader to join our team. As a key member of our derivatives trading team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of OTC derivatives and structured products.

You will work closely with our sales team and derivatives engine to maximize revenue and profitability from client flows. Your primary focus will be on managing risks, coordinating with the US sales team, and steering the development of our proprietary web application, AGILE.

In this role, you will also collaborate with our quarant and IT teams to improve trading desk tools and processes, including pricing and risk management applications. Your expertise will be essential in originating hedging solutions and structured transactions, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage risks and coordinate with the US sales team to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Steer the development of AGILE, our proprietary web application.
  • Collaborate with quarant and IT teams to improve trading desk tools and processes.
  • Originate hedging solutions and structured transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Proactive mindset with up-to-date market research knowledge.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial service markets and regulatory requirements.
  • Substantial experience in OTC derivatives and structured products.
  • Experience in risk management and compliance.
What We Offer
