Job Title: Radiographer with NDT Certifications

Applied Technical Services (ATS) is a leading provider of critical testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services. We are seeking an experienced Radiographer with NDT certifications to join our team in Seattle, WA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing and examination at client sites, managing equipment and materials, and compiling client reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiography and NDT, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform non-destructive testing and examination at client sites
  • Manage equipment and materials necessary for the completion of inspection
  • Compile client reports, including drawings using CAD and word processors
  • Meet deadlines for work and reports, potentially on nights and weekends
  • Work with clients to locate and identify indications and their probable causes
  • General shop-assistant duties to keep the NDT shop in working order
Requirements:
  • NDT Level II Technicians with a strong background in radiography and NDT
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Work Conditions:
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
  • Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
  • Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
  • Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments
  • Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
