Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Shop Supervisor to join our team and lead our shop floor operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive business growth.

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of complex airfoils, blades, and vanes for the aerospace and industrial gas turbine industries. With a reputation for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service, we are committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead shop floor teams to achieve quality, delivery, and profitability targets
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency
  • Coach and develop employees to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Resolve employee issues and implement effective solutions
  • Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to address operational issues

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in Aerospace or similar industry, a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of driving business growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
