Job Summary:
The Information Security Manager will be responsible for leading the organization's cybersecurity efforts, ensuring the safeguarding of digital assets, networks, and sensitive information.

The ideal candidate will focus on crafting and executing robust security frameworks, establishing policies, overseeing security technologies, and managing incident responses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Formulate, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management strategy.

2. Direct the information security division, including both direct and indirect reports from various departments.

3. Coordinate the operational aspects of incident management, encompassing detection, response, and documentation.
4. Stay informed about the evolving IT threat landscape relevant to the industry.
5. Ensure adherence to current laws and regulations, translating that knowledge into risk identification and actionable protective measures.
6. Schedule regular security assessments and penetration tests.
7. Supervise identity and access management protocols.
8. Communicate security policies and procedures to all staff, ensuring compliance is upheld.
9. Manage all personnel, contractors, and vendors engaged in IT security.
10. Provide guidance and mentorship to members of the security team.
11. Continuously refine the cybersecurity strategy to incorporate emerging technologies and threat intelligence.

12. Report to the executive team on the status of security initiatives and associated risks, advocating for the overall strategy and necessary funding.

13. Disseminate best practices and risk information across all business units, beyond the IT department.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, accompanied by over 10 years of relevant experience.

Professional security management certifications are preferred, including but not limited to Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

Demonstrated experience in a cybersecurity role or a related field.
Experience in managing contracts and vendor relationships, including managed services.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Entra, HPE, or Google Cloud is advantageous.
Proficiency with O365, ERP systems, Qualys, Cisco, virtual environments, and complex systems architecture supporting mission-critical operations.
Knowledge of established information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST.
Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams to achieve both tactical and strategic objectives.
